Growing up in Revere, Massachusetts, TODD PARKER spent his youth reading comic books, watching Creature Double Feature, and being picked last before every neighborhood sports game.
He majored in graphic arts and illustration but somehow transitioned into becoming a professional stand-up comedian. He toured the country from coast to coast and in his mid-twenties moved to the bright lights of Hollywood to become a star. He didn’t.
In 2002 Todd married a southern belle named Dana, and soon after they welcomed two kids, Ivy and Toby, into the world.
Besides writing television and film screenplays Todd also enjoys oil painting. His paintings and prints have been exhibited and sold in galleries in Boston, San Diego, Florida, as well as The Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
In 2013 Todd and the family moved to Dana’s hometown of Atlanta, where he is surrounded by rabid football fans and people who say y’all. He still loves doing stand-up, but his true happy place is hanging out at home with family and friends while working the grill with hairband power ballads playing in the background.
Billionaire Boogeymen is his first novel. He hopes you like it.
